Started fishing aged 4 and at age 7 joined the Lincoln Juniors where he won the league in his first and second year.
Fished adult open matches at Rushfeld and with several wins. Joined Evesham Sensas Juniors and came 10th in the Junior National.
Fished the Junior Canal Champions 3 years running with a 15, 19 and 2nd overall. Favourite venue: Hallcroft Fishery.
Favourite method: Fishing for skimmers and likes lure fishing and drop shotting.

Preferred methods: Whip fishing on drains and deepish rivers on the pole. I also like catching carp on pellet waggler and pole.
Best Result to date: First at tyddgote with 3lb 15 in 2018 and recently 13th out of 56 on the shropshire union with 1.590 Kilo
Ambitions: World champion and fish for U15 squad in the future, like my brother Josh Newman, who is currently in the U20s.
